Guess you haven't heard the news: Barber died in April of this year. Maybe he didn't make it up to where you are if you haven't seen him around.
Yeah, I knew that he had died. But according to Dan Sydlik, in Barber's final years when he was on earth, boy he could plant some 3-bean salad in his drawers!

Is Nathan Knorr up there with you and do you both still have rasping voices that bored me to sleep at Twickenham England all those years ago or has God made you perfect now? I fondly remember queing for your new release books all the way back to the huge donations' box and I was so disapointed with all the same words written in the publications which had just put me to sleep in the stadium.
I also remember Nathan saying that some times someone comes along and thinks they know better than the Society . Freddie, will you tell him that that someone is now a great crowd of witnesses but not Jehovah's Witnesses.
P.S. Loved those big kipper ties you all wore back then, very fifties.Tried to emulate you back then with those ties but they didn't go with my Beatles' hair style.

Edmond, thanks for remembering, even though they weren't such great memories. Yeah, Nathan is up here. But God has him assigned to counting stars in another galaxy, (busy work). It keeps him busy for years at a time. He's our special little buddy up here.
Sorry my talks and books were so boring. I was trying to be creative and captivating, yet staying within the boundaries that I had to stay within.

There is a reason for that. Bethel still has him strapped to a wheelchair and is wheeling him around Brooklyn Heights with the Wt pinned to his shirt.
Nah, he died in March of last year. We were all waiting to see if he would arrive, but he never made it. After that we just went back to watching our season 1 dvd's of Family Guy.

A lot of wasted years on my part. My only recourse is to live as long as possible to make up for lost time.
Again, REALLY sorry about that. We actually thought that we were the special, chosen channel that God was using, all based on a mis-application of an illustration that Jesus used at Matthew 24:45. I'm just glad that God forgave me for all of it. He wasn't so forgiving to others that were on the Governing Body with me. There hasn't been a sign of Bert Schroeder up here at all. No Judge Rutherford up here, either.

Yeah, totally! I was wondering if it was just me thinking that. But I've been checking out all of the books that they've released in the last few years. They should use this stuff to help insomniacs, honestly! The Daniel book in '99 was pretty decent, but everything else has been coma-inducing. I think I'd rather change Carey Barber's man-diapers than read that stuff.

" it is simply not true that all religions lead to the same goal... you must be part of jehovah's organization, doing god's will, in order to receive his blessing of everlasting life...".

Actually, I went to heaven right after I died, so I wasn't conscience of anything that happened to my physical body.
we went shopping this afternoon, my two little girls and i, on the way home, they were both excitedly talking about halloween.
my youngest, who is seven, lets out this comment that nearly had me veering off the road with laughter.
she said, "i know what i want to be for halloween already, a jehovah's witness" well, i started to laugh right away, my eldest girl asked her why, she says, "they knock on people's door all the time and they are really scary".
Halloween is the most demonic of Satan's holidays.
